Fall Community Service Project for 2017

Girls Tennis

The Lady Pope Tennis Team will be volunteering at the open-door cafe at the Cathedral of St. John Evangelist on Sunday, October 1st.

Boys Soccer

Boys Soccer worked a four week camp for unprivileged kids in the Waukesha area.

Football

The football team raked leaves for home owners around Pius XI.

Girls Cross Country

The girls’ cross country team will be planting blubs all along the new fence in the main parking lot.

Girls Volleyball

On Sunday, October 1, our team brought, prepared, and served a Sunday brunch to residents staying at the Ronald McDonald House. Each of my players donated $5.   I used this money to purchase eggs, ham, rolls, hash browns and cookies. Each player also brought an additional food or drink.   We cooked, cleaned, washed dishes, and swept the floor.

Boys Cross Country

The boys’ cross-country team runs the water stations for the indoor half-marathon and marathon at the Pettit Center the second weekend in February. The proceeds benefit the Pettit and its programs.

Boys Volleyball

The boys’ volleyball team did go help a former Pius teacher who is very sick.  We  get their home and yard ready for the winter.    The guys were happy to step up last Friday and help him.  We hope the simple act of support from the community will lighten his load and allows him to recover to full strength.
